"2D" Frames for upholstered furniture
production
ACO is pleased to announce the introduction of its "2D"
line of frame parts for upholstered furniture. Commonly, frame parts
are cut from sheet stock such as plywood or particle board. Alternatively,
they are assembled from several plywood or solid wood parts. This
traditional technology generates waste (if sheet material is used)
and requires machining, assembling and other operations.
Our novel frame production technology, however, is an adjunct to
our veneer production. Precut veneer parts are glued and pressed
to specific frame size and thickness, and routed inside/outside
as required. All sizes and complicated shapes are available in any
requested quantity.
Our "2D" frame parts
, with low material and labor costs, offer furniture manufacturers:
- Strength exceeding plywood and solid wood
- Unlimited thickness, unavailable in solid wood or particle board
- A superior product at a price below particle board
We are excited with this product introduction , as it will follow
a significant quality improvement in any price-point furniture market.
We would be pleased to provide samples, a quotation, warehousing,
and our ongoing goal of service.
