Veneer
ACO supplies sliced hardwood veneers, such as oak, ash, birch and
maple to manufacturers of furniture products, for use as face, backing,
and edgebanding material. Our sliced veneers are typically 0.6-0.8mm
thick, and we ship as bundled flitches or Cut-To-Size, either spliced
or stitched. In 2000, we supplied upgraded splicing equipment to one
of our mills in Ukraine, improving their quality and increasing output.
Grades range from face to "sound and better". Our prices
are very competitive, and we take pride in our reliability, understanding
the requirements of today's production environment. Other available
species include ash, European oak, cherry and mappa burl.
